If I keep on doing what I am doing I will keep on getting what I am getting. The only way to change what I am getting is to Change what I am doing.
Today I will begin turning the 4th Key: Change! I will start the process of changing where I am – mentally, spiritually, emotionally, physically – by changing the way I think. My mind will live in the solutions of the future and not in the failures of the past. I will limit my thinking to the dream, the plans and the strategies to make the dream happen. I will read the right things that lift me higher. I must feed my mind with the wisdom of winners.
I will surround myself with the right people that will inspire me to think bigger. To become an eagle I must fly with the eagles! I will change to think like they think. I will seek their counsel and LISTEN to it. Everybody needs a coach! I will mimic the winners. I will shun the people that will pull me down or take me away from my mission. In other words, to make the changes I need to make I cannot afford to scratch around with the chickens. I must guard my heart and my mind. I cannot afford to be around people drainers. I must feed my mind and emotions the right information to keep me positive. This is essential to my changing where I am.
My spiritual growth will make my dream mission stronger. My physical improvement will give me the stamina I need for the energy it takes to do it. I can do this! I WILL change where I am. Today I will change my future by changing my direction.
I control my direction and today I choose to go in the direction of my dream. I realize that I no longer have to wait on God – for he has given me my dream – He is now waiting on ME to move, act and change my ways toward His.
Today I will change the way I do things – even though I “have always” done it another way. It is hard to change habits but it is worth it. My past results prove that the way I have always done things doesn’t produce the results I want. The way I do things could and should be made better. These changes will make ME better!
I embrace (rather than resent) the fact that my dream and my plan requires change. I look forward to the changes because I look forward to the results. There is not one change that I must make that I cannot do. The changes will improve my ethics, morals, quality of service and impact on my community.
I am excited because I know the changes I make today will change others. My dream will impact my family and friends. The fulfillment of my dreams through change will inspire my family to dream and to change for their dream. It is a domino effect of magnificent proportions. Many lives will be changed as a result of my changes. I love it!
